From beginning, I'm try to share some interesting places that have their delicious food. So you have an idea where do you want to eat in Kuantan, right? For me, food is like my best friends. Without food, I'm nothing. Hahahaha :D Remember!! People who loves to eat are always the best people.

This is one of travelogue about food in Kuantan from semester 2.

Dapur Mama 🍴🍴

Let's go to our next destination. This is not western food anymore. Hahah my next restaurant was "Dapur Mama" . Anyone familiar with "Nasi Kukus Mama" ? So basically Dapur Mama was a "Nasi Kukus Mama". But the owner wants to change their name as "Dapur Mama" . There are a lot branches of this restaurant. I think around 6 branches. Dapur Mama located at Indera Mahkota 8 which is near with UIA. The "Dapur Mama" ni was famous with their signature dishes which is "Nasi Kukus" . There are serving some set of Nasi Kukus. You can choose it. For me, I like to eat Nasi Kukus Ayam Berempah. It's superb lah. The prices so affordable which is for the normal set RM8 something. For special set RM10 only. Dapur Mama also have their own cafe. Their cafe serves likes cakes and coffee. The concept of their restaurant was so cool and relaxed.

Burgerak

Uhhh.. It's all about western. Quite bored? No no! Don't easily get bored with my entry haha :D So my next fly was "Burgerak". Some people know about this restaurant. But some people didn't know about it. Don't worry about this. I will share some special things about "Burgerak". You will love it. So basically my entry almost about food hunter who likes to eat western food. Burgerak located in Lorong Air Putih 2 which is near with SABS. This "port" was the choices with all ages and it increasingly popular when the football player Pahang was enjoying their interesting food at Burgerak. Signature dishes in Burgerak was their "Burrito". Burrito a kind of popular food in Mexico was the main dishes in Burgerak. The special of their Burrito which is a bit renovation with local tastes.
Using the concept of " street burger " , open space and make it a relaxing choice for visitors to enjoy their favorite menu with family members and friends. You can enjoyed your food with chills and relaxing. Not only that, Burgerak use their own sauce to make it delicious. For the price? Ummmm, it's so worth it with their food. So let's go to "Burgerak". When you eat your patty, you will "Move like jagger" hahahahah :D

Mint's Restaurant

Hah this is the interesting restaurant for me and maybe for you too :) For those who likes to have environment which is sea view, you should try come to this restaurant. Mint's Restaurant was located near with Balok's Beach. It is really beautiful restaurant with sea view while enjoy their food. Who are dreaming for the wedding in the beach when you're get married? In Mint's Retaurant also can do your wedding beach. They provides for who wants to get married with beach's concept. Other than that, they also provides event venue for those wants to celebrate birthday and so on. The prices was quite affordable. They serves Asian Fusion, Buffets, Sandwiches, Seafood, Southern and Steakhouses for the food hunter. Yah yah yah, you should try their food. It's absolutely delicious. You will not regret when you tastes their food. All their food surprisingly delicious with prices so worth it! Don't forget bring along your family to enjoy their beautiful sea view and food. You will amazed with all of this.

Lilawadi's Restaurant

Simply...Delicious? Yes, it's simply but delicious. Lila Wadi is one of the latest attraction in Kuantan City, Pahang. Located in one of the oldest bulding in Jalan Besar that was built in 1920´s, Lila Wadi has its own specialties.  

Serving varieties of fusion Thai and Western cuisine, Lila Wadi also brought the “BBQ in the garden” concept. This BBQ menu has gained popularity among its customers  which is originally from Hokaido,Japan, brought by the owners mother who is a traveller and food lover since young.Signature dishes such as Mango Cheese Cake, and Pandan Cooler are also making Lila Wadi . Siakap Mangga, Siakap 3 Rasa, Beef Bacon Fried Rice and many other delicious items on the menu are often picked as a choice by the customer. Apart from that, variety of smoothies and desserts is also available at Lila Wadi Restaurant. 

Their customer services was "Tip Top". They provides friendly, attentive services in relaxed environment by their staff. For those who wants to celebrate their anniversary or birthday, this places was suitable to celebrate it with your family. So what are you waiting for "Food Hunter"? Aniq Steamboat 🍢🍡🍜

Now I would like to share one of my favourite places in Kuantan. It's Aniq Steamboat. Wow excited, right? Basically people will know Aniq Steamboat as they just serve steamboat at all. But they didn't. Aniq Steamboat also serves variety of food such as "Nasi Minyak", "ABC" and some cakes. The location of Aniq Steamboat was near with Giant Supermarket. You may search at Waze, if you can't find it. It's not only have steamboat but it's also have a grilled meats. Aniq Steamboat using concept of self services. You need to take your own. There are variety of steamboat that came from seafood, vegetables and meats. The famous in Aniq Steamboat was beef grilled. You can cook your own. This restaurant is full house when weekends. So you must come early to booking your table. You can also booking through messaging or whatsapp. Aniq Steamboat usually opened at 5 p.m until 12 a.m. The prices was so affordable which is RM 10 for kids , Rm17 for students likes me and RM 19 for adult. Don't forget to tries Aniq Steamboat. You will love it.

MYNY Cafe at Taman Tas

KOTAK KALAM (Best Local Western in Kuantan)

Kotak Kalam will be an ideal hangout and relaxing for all those who are seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life. It's located near in the heart of Kuantan which is middle of the town. People can easily find it. Kotak Kalam opened from 6 p.m until 11 p.m. This restaurant will open on Monday until Saturday. Unfortunately, kotak kalam will be closed on Sunday. Mostly people will go there to having their lunch. Basically the menu consists western plus a bit asian fasion. Not only western food but they serve some cakes at their restaurant. It's served variety of cakes. It's also nice concept of restaurant. The restaurant is so funky to me which they decorated some arts at the wall and a huge chalkboard with their menu written on it. Kotak Kalam, with it's warm and invliting exterior and interior will not only appeal to the young, working adults but also to patrons who are just looking to unwind and relax. Next, Kotak Kalam only focusing on their modern concept. The price was so affordable to us which is around RM 10 above. All the food in Kotak Kalam was so delicious. I would recommend to all of my readers to have a Chicken Grill Cheese when you comes to this restaurant. The sauce of this dishes was so tasty to me.

KULACAKE

KULA CAKE? Yes, Kula Cake. One of the best cake house in Kuantan. Kula Cake was located in the middle of Kuantan's city. It's easier for people to find this cake house. If you're from Kuantan, you will know this places. Kula Cake was near to the "Taman Seni Teruntum". The most famous dishes in Kula Cake is Mango Cheese Cake which is from the original mango and high quality of cheese.Which is one of their specialties and also the locals favourite. Everyday the Mango Cheese Cake will out of stock because it's to tasty and delicious. Other than that, they have variety of cakes such as Pavlova, Brownies and etc. All of the cakes comes with affordable price. The prices was from RM6 until RM9 I would really recommend first time visitor to try all the cakes in Kula Cake. You will amazed with their cakes. The cafe also have a very nice vintage atmosphere. It's perfect place for food hunter like me. You must go with your families and friend to get some fresh Mango Cheese Cake from Kula Cake. Seriously, you will not regret to have their signature dishes. But you will want to eat more of their cakes. Here some picture of Kula Cake :)

A little brief about Kuantan ☺

Assalamualaikum w.b.t for all the readers. Today I would to share interesting information to you. Some people around Malaysia thought that Kuantan was a very small city. Even Kuantan was a small city, there was a lot of food that we can find. A variety of food that can amazed orang orang yang datang Kuantan ni. Some people panggil Kuantan ni like heaven with food. Why? Basically, Kuantan was famous with a lot of variety of food in Kuantan. Dari seafood sampai western, sushi, and others. Nowadays, banyak penduduk penduduk di Kuantan ada a lot of idea untuk representing their food. As an example in Kuantan, sekarang famous dengan shellout which is the food is seafood. But in Kuantan, they come out with new idea which is I called it "WesternOut" . Its the same like shellout which is they will put all the seafood together with rice for 4 people per table.
